Hotspots

A hotspot is a marker at a specific point in the scene. When the customer clicks on it, a pop-up opens displaying up to three features—the customer can interact with them directly without having to switch screens.

Typical examples:

  • The customer clicks on the handle of a piece of furniture and selects the handle model there.
  • A hotspot is attached to each door of a cabinet, allowing the customer to choose the opening direction.
  • A marker on the roof explains the roofing material and offers a selection directly.

The hotspot fades out if it lies behind geometry—so it does not reveal anything that is not visible from the current camera position.
