Image upload doesn't work in the Safari browser
Question
> I'm trying to upload an image to my configurator, but nothing happens, or the image isn't uploaded. This problem occurs exclusively in the Safari browser.
Answer
This error frequently occurs specifically in Safari and can usually be resolved by taking one of the following steps.
Solution 1: Use a different browser
Open the K3 Editor in a different browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, and upload the image there. This problem usually does not occur in these browsers.
Solution 2: Clear the Safari cache
- Open Safari and click Safari → Preferences → Privacy in the menu bar
- Click “Clear All Website Data”
- Confirm the deletion and reload the page
Alternatively, you can clear the cache directly: Safari → History → Clear History (Time Range: “All History”).
If you prefer Safari and the problem persists after clearing the cache, we generally recommend using Chrome or Firefox for the K3 Editor. These browsers offer more reliable support for the web technologies used in the editor.
