Prices Are Not Displayed in the Configurator
Question
> I have maintained the items and prices and set a feature to display prices. However, no price appears in the configurator. What setting am I missing?
Answer
There is an overarching setting that disables price display throughout the entire configurator. As long as this setting is enabled, prices will remain hidden even for individual attributes.
- Open the configurator editor.
- Click the pencil icon on the block that contains the price and Order buttons.
- Switch to the Price tab.
- Uncheck the box next to Hide prices in the configurator?.
- Save.
After that, prices will appear in both the preview and the published configurator.
Changes made in the editor take effect immediately in the preview. The published configurator will not apply them until you publish. This means you can safely test the price display without altering the live site.
If you want the same configurator to run sometimes with prices and sometimes without—for example, for resellers and end customers—set the parameter prices to true or false when making the request.
